The world of Crimson Tears is a dark and dangerous one, filled with monsters lurking just beyond the surface of everyday life, and vampires, werewolves and other creatures hiding in plain sight. Ryann Ly, a kickboxing lesbian turned vampire, is violently thrust into this world, only to find that she has always been connected to it.
But there is more than just blood and violence here. There is friendship that goes through the bones, family that protects and nurtures, and love, unconditional and eternal. So Ryann fights, bleeds, and hunts for this new family, these new friends, and Rachel, the girl she has fallen for, while she heals from the trauma and pain of her injuries. On her watch, nobody will hurt the ones she cherishes.

Being granted The Gift of Blood dashes all of Ryann's life plans, but she is not alone in navigating this strange new world. And as her story progresses, she and Rachel, find their strength and love in The Thrill of the Hunt.
With her best friend Meg, she learns to defy the authority of this world's elite and make them fear and respect her like The Killer of Kings. But more threats are awoken by The Call of the Deep, and The Council of Beasts poses Ryann a question: Does she have what it takes to become The Eater of Monsters? Or will she lose all she's fought so hard to gain and protect?

 It is a High-rise similar to the shard in London. it's not as big, less then a half of the floods, and made of Black glass and decorated with black marble inside.
